ROBIN CLARKE - BIOGRAPHY
Robin spent the early part of his career working for a large high street bank. This was back when your local branch was central to your community, customers were known by name, and you had a relationship with your bank manager and staff.
Just over 20 years ago, Robin left the bank to become an Independent Financial Adviser, so that he could work on his clients’ behalf, instead of representing a bank that was becoming more focused on targets and sales rather than its customers. In 2007, Robin founded Bluecoat Wealth Management, a company that could reflect his own values and desire to leave a legacy.
Many Bluecoat clients have been with Robin for 10-20 years. Some even date back to his time working at the bank and we now advise generations of families. Bluecoat is different to most of its competitors in that it will be passed down through generations of our family – the business and its clients will NEVER be for sale. Whenever an IFA business is sold it is at the expense of its clients as the purchaser attempts to recover the purchase price!
Bluecoat Wills & Trusts was founded to provide specialist advice on wills and inter-generational wealth transfer that can run in unison with clients’ financial planning. We have access to the legal expertise of a leading UK law firm, which we are able to combine with an intimate knowledge of our clients’ family and financial circumstances, to deliver the very best estate planning solutions.
In his spare time, Robin enjoys spending time in France, cycling, following Wasps rugby team having been Chairman of Worthing RFC Girls section for five years, and is involved with a charity connected to his old school.
